Digital Print 2004 onwards

This is a proposal in the form of a poster. Instead of the day of remembrance or memorial day, surely it would be better to have a day of forgetting – where we move forward in a spirit of reconciliation together. The work asks for us all on this day to collectively forget the ills that have been made against us.  The text is on an image of a wall destroyed by gunfire in Bosnia, an expression of anger which has now passed.

Whenever there has been an exhibition of studio artworks, this piece has whenever possible been created in the local language.
